The baseball team wins 14-5 over King School.  Mitch MacAdam went 2 for 4 and Matt Hickey, 3 for 4.  Joe Johnson got the win on the mound and went 2 for 3 at the dish.

Larry McClurkin  scored 25 pts. to lead the way in a 59-50 win over Berlin.  Paul Diaz had 9, Chris Candela 6, and Mark Rog had 8 pts.  They had a 12-3 record.

The Boy's J.V. and Varsity both won their games on this day. J.V. hosted Berlin and beat their J.V. 56-40. Yang Wu led the team with 17 pts. and CJ Charles Johnson had 16 pts. for the young Owls.

The Boy's Varsity played after J.V. and won 54-51 over Kildonan. Big guns on that (10-4) team were Ron Rogers (10 pts.), Darryl Adams (11 pts.), Matt Rubin (14 pts.), Eric Hernandez (17 pts.), and Dorian Blackshear (5 pts.).

On this date....16 years ago 3 players scored in double figures as the Hoosac Boy's Basketball team improved to 13-1 on the season with a 60-56 victory over Schenectady Christian. Alex Beane (16 points), Rashid Rondon (14 pts.), and Chris Stokes (20 pts.) led the way for the Owls. Also playing with big roles on the tightly knit team were Kiely Yonce (7 pts.), John Uvira (4 pts.) and Matt Rosenblum.

 

 

On this date 18 years ago... This was the first year basketball games were played in the Dickie Sports Complex. Jimmy Ryan (yes, brother of Athletic Director Mike Ryan) hit the first 3-pt. shot in a game vs Berlin. Jim, that's one record that nobody can break!

 

On this date 10 years ago... in 1998 Jay Eifert poured in 33 points to help the team beat New Lebanon 58-56. Jon Miller added 12 points.

 

On this date 5 years ago... Laurel Del Rosario had a team high 19 points in a blow out win vs Berkshire Country Day School 46-12. Annie Coll added 10.
